FAQs

Will candles melt when shipped in hot weather?

I’m not gonna lie, this is a real possibility. The wax can melt when it's hot out or if your order is left outside in the heat. Shipping companies don’t reimburse this, so Chrisbelt can’t be held responsible for melted candles. We always advise you to order at your own risk or choose expedited delivery services.

How do I prevent a high flame?

Before lighting your candle, you should trim your wick to 1/4" and burn your candle no longer than 4 hours at a time. If you do see a high flame, then this is a signal that your wick is too long. Extinguish yourcandle and trim your wick when the candle has cooled down in preparation foryour next burn. You can continue to enjoy your candle until around 1/2" ofwax remains at the bottom of the jar. We advise that you don’t burn your candlewith less than a 1/2" of wax remaining

Where and how long should I burn my candle?

Candles should be placed on a solid surface away from wind or drafts. Please keep out of reach of children + pets. Two candles will ensure a fragrant scent in a big room with high ceilings, and one candle will work to scent a smaller room.

How long does each candle last?

The larger candles burn for 40+ hours and our smaller candles burn for 25+ hours.

Trim your wick to 1/4" using a wick trimmer or scissors or a nail cutter can also work.
